Not For Your Ears is an unofficial and fake compilation of Evanescence's 2001-2002 leaked demos including Amy Lee's "You". First released in 2003, it has been regarded as the original source of pre-Fallen demo tracks.[1]

Background[]

Rumors speculated that Brad Caviness from Bigwig Enterprises had taken the songs from the studio and created bootleg discs to sell online. However, this no longer seems to be the case. The tracks that were not on Songs To Be Recorded For Fallen were stolen and leaked somehow, but how this all happened is mostly unclear.

In an interview prior to the release of Fallen, Amy Lee and Ben Moody granted permission for downloading pre-Fallen music after they found out that their 2000 demo album Origin was being sold at eBay for $250.[2] Download it here.
