With Evanescence[]

On 7 August 2015, Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee announced that Majura would join Evanescence, following lead guitarist Terry Balsamo's departure. The band's guitarist Troy McLawhorn replaced Balsamo's position as lead guitarist.

On November 2, 2015, Equilibrium announced via Facebook that Majura had left the band.

The first Evanescence album she recorded is 2017's Synthesis, tracking guitar and theremin. The latter she learned for the album.

During live shows, she sang backing vocals on some songs.

In early 2020 she recorded on the first four songs on the band's fifth album, The Bitter Truth, but had to record the rest of her guitar parts remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic because she lives in Germany and wasn't able to join the band in July 2020 to resume recording. She got co-writing credits as part of the band on 10 of the songs on the album. Amy said that on "Broken Pieces Shine", Majura had an idea for the verse that "turned into that chugging verse music".[1]

On May 21, 2022, it was announced that Evanescence parted ways with Jen Majura. Majura said it wasn't her decision.[2][3] The band's former bassist Tim McCord switched to guitar, and Emma Anzai of Sick Puppies was brought in as the new bass player.
